You are invited to join the Creative Alliance and have input into the ongoing development of the creative and knowledge industries on the Sunshine Coast. Membership is only $30 and provides you wish discounted entry to Creative Alliance events. Membership also connects you to our growing community of creatives and the more members we have the greater our strength in terms of our advocacy and influence. Members can also become involved through joining the management committee, co-hosting Catalyst Clubs and other industry clusters. We are also seeking members to become part of an industry reference group which can inform policy, planning and research initiatives.
The Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance is a non-profit association which promotes the development of creative and knowledge industries on the Sunshine Coast. Members include entrepreneurs, artists, educators, professionals and business people across a range of sectors. It promotes networking, advocacy and support for members and affiliated groups.
The goals of the alliance are to:
• Facilitate and contribute to the growth and development of creative and knowledge industries on the Sunshine Coast
• Support individuals and organisations engaged in specific self-managed Alliance projects and creative industry initiatives
• Act as a creative industries advocate to local, state and federal government agencies
• Promote the advantages of the Sunshine Coast region (locally, nationally and internationally) as a prime business location for creative and knowledge industry businesses
• Contribute to building a sustainable community through supporting the development of high value, low impact economic development.
