Ticket price includes light refreshments. Cash bar available. The Imagine That! Creative Showcase will include:
- Pecha Kucha Night - Presenters have 6 minutes and 40 seconds to share 20 images and speak to them for 20 seconds each. Confirmed speakers currently include Ange Takats (Singer/Songwriter/Writer), Sonia-Louise Armstrong (Screenwriter), Matt Haynes (VariousArtists), Annabel Candy (Writer/Blogger/Web designer), Chris Pantano (glass artist).... more to be announced soon
- Concert performances by coast musicians including Spanish guitarist - Andrew Veivers , singer songwriter sensation – Ange Takats & Queensland Music Award winner - Alan Kelly (The Barleyshakes)
- Fashion parades coordinated by Jacinta Richmond from the Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival and featuring some of the coast's top designers (to be announced following Sunshine Coast Fashion Week)
- Live Art Artists - Renae Awen (local freelance artist and l.a.a event coordinator) will be creating a new work at the event inspired by what is happening throughout the showcase including music, fashion, street theatre, Pecha Kucha Night & visual art.
- Jamvas – where everyone can take part in the creative expression by leaving their mark on our interactive canvas. Thus named ‘The Jamvas’ it starts as a blank canvas and throughout the night a collage is created infused with the people and happenings from the event. The Jamvas will be auctioned at the close of the night to help raise funds for the Creative Alliance – Sunshine Coast.
- Gallery exhibitions featuring visual artists and photographers including Jandamarra (portraiture), Renae Bahloo (weaving), Kari (pottery), Tracy Naughton (photography) & Mixed Element (cement works).
- Circus acts, roving entertainers, face painting and more!
