There is significance overlap and allegiance between The Creative Alliance and other professional groups on the coast and we want to capitalise on that. K E E N is one of these groups - and it stands for Knowledge Exporters and Entrepreneurs of Noosa. This group is a business network connecting people who live locally but do business nationally and globally, and/or in niche markets, across a diverse range of sectors. K E E N try to meet quarterly, and meetings are generally roundtable discussions.
K E E N report that they are different to many other business networks. For example, nobody is going to try and sell their product to you, meetings are informal (not a committee in sight!) and there is no ‘group think’ as K E E N embraces diversity, with members coming from different industry sectors. Their first meeting for 2010 is coming up soon:
