James Ray (aka JimiRay) - Photographer
http://jamesrayphoto.wordpress.com/
I love my camera, I love taking photos. From the age when I was allowed to use a camera I’ve been chasing the best wildlife, people and landscape shots. Being creative is very important to me whether through my photography, time lapses, panoramas, video, DJ'ing or music production. I've been lucky enough to take photos professionally both internationally and locally in Australia, covering many different events and businesses ranging from Ski Races, Freestyle events, weddings, portraits, mountain bike races, cat boarding, salmon fishing, bungee jumping, snowmobiling, music festivals, DJ's, live musicians, nightclub’s, Santa, new years eve parties, cross country skiing and more. I love technical challenges, experimental photo setups and taking pictures in remote outdoor places.

Their editorial belief is to feature salt-of-the-earth people, from the third generation trawler skipper to a article on the Stunned Mullets a group of sun bleached men who swim at Kings Beach every morning. They pride ourselves on their photography – emotive, truthful and organic – beginning with our striking landscape panoramas that are featured on their covers right throughout the magazine. It is their aim to encourage visitors to discover every nook and cranny of our sun-kissed region and to inspire locals to explore the Sunshine Coast with the enthusiasm of a tourist. Last year they launched, pepper a monthly e-zine sneezed into the inboxes of their salty friends uncovering secrets only a local would know, favourite blogs, must-have iphone apps and giveaways. www.saltmagazine.com.au has positioned itself as the number 1 website for visitors (and locals) to the coast where they can research accommodation, art galleries and shopping options and read up to date web exclusive articles about things to do and see on the Sunshine Coast.
