Cooroy Catalyst Club

SCCA Team - Tuesday, September 21, 2010

It was a mix of old friends and new when we met at the Cooroy Cultural Precinct in September for our Catalyst Club event.  It began with a terrific tour of the beautiful new library.  Manager Tracey King pointed out the sustainability features and the rooms and spaces now available.  Library patronage has been through the roof as locals have embraced this stunning new facility.  We then moved up to the Butter Factory Arts Centre where manager Tricia Dobson outlined some of the arts exhibitions and workshops that have been hosted there this year and encouraged artists and groups to consider submitting a proposal for the 2011 program.  Our sincere thanks to the Cooroy Cultural Precinct for co-hosting the event and to those who came along and shared in the conversation.   More >>

Cooroy Incubator Survey

SCCA Team - Friday, August 06, 2010

Would you be interested in growing your business and consider being based in Cooroy?  Strategic Economic Solutions are working with the Sunshine Coast Council to explore the nature of demand for a potential small business incubator at Cooroy.

A business incubator is a service to help grow small businesses and typically offers a mix of services (like market access, reaching customers, business strategy and planning, mentoring, back office admin services etc) and space on flexible terms.

A survey questionnaire is available here.  It has 3 parts, each of which ask for a little more detail on your needs if you think an incubator could help you grow your business.  If you are interested please contact Jo on 0403211348 and she can call you back at a time that suits you to complete the survey over the phone.
