What is the showcase?
This online showcase provides the Sunshine Coast creative community with a portal through which they can share their work, connect to other creatives and generate creative as well as business opportunities.
To develop our creative economy our creative talent must be both visible to the world and also able to connect with each other. Showcasing is an appropriate and proven methodology to achieve both of these key success factors.
Who should be on the showcase?
The focus of this showcase is on people working in a professional capacity within identified creative and knowledge industries. We also want to profile those businesses and professionals that support the creative industries or play a key role in values chains for those industries. Showcase nominees should live and/or work predominantly within the Sunshine Coast region (as per the Sunshine Coast Regional Council boundaries)
How do you get profiled?
Professionals may be approached by the Creative Alliance or may wish to submit their showcase online here. The content will be moderated before being uploaded to the showcase. Those profiled will be provided with a username and password so that they can update their profile as appropriate.
What can I upload?
The profile asks you to provide information about yourself, a description of your work, your background and education/experience. You can provide links to your website, an email address and phone number. You are also invited to upload nine (9) images. The idea here is to create interest in your work and visual appeal for the showcase as a whole. You should ensure that images you upload are your work and not subject to any copyright restrictions.
