My work is essentially about finding the uniqueness of a place, whether it be historically, culturally or environmental and incorporate it into a piece of public furniture or art work. So that the community finds it relevant and wants to take ownership of it.

While Discover Eumundi Heritage and Visitor Centre is one of the smallest museums on the Sunshine Coast, it is one of the most visited with approximately 10,000 visitors a year.
The Centre provides visitor information and historical objects, photographs and interpretive displays. The centre can aid with family and historical research of Eumundi and its surrounding district.
Well designed and produced displays depict the museum’s collection of Aboriginal artefacts and the area’s natural and social history.
The museum strives to remain relevant to the local community by documenting the contemporary. This includes the recent photo documentation of the Australian Body Art Carnivale and the 30th year anniversary of the famous Eumundi Markets.
Gubbi Gubbi Dance is a locally based group of performing artists showcasing traditional Aboriginal Arts through song and dance. We share the history of our ancient culture through welcome to country, workshops, events, festivals, demonstrations, school visits, fire-lightings and cultural tours. Programs can be customised to focus on bush tucker, Aboriginal artefacts and history, visual arts, music. These can be personalised for groups, schools, universities, corporates, families and individuals.

Tanmayo is an abstract painter who uses watermedia . She experiments with space and colour, juxtaposing flat planes with interludes of seductive colour. Her paintings evolve through a process of overpainting. The process of her expression is as important
a statement as the final product and is representative of bringing order out of chaos. She often focuses on environmental issues and draws from her inner knowing.

My name is Warren Bonett and I am one of the owners of Embiggen Books, a specialist bookstore and art gallery. I am an artist and designer and am particularly interested in the cross pollination of ideas at the meeting point of the arts and the sciences and so have set up a space to make this happen.
